A post is an idea, topic or finding that you would like to research or work on. It
differs from a “Bite” in that it includes a mandatory data or method section. So it
requires thought or a summary on how an observation is testable. You can choose to work
on a post in private by keeping it as a draft, collaborate with the Publisci community
by inviting comments and discussions, or add other members to co-author.
Quickly and easily publish a “Bite” on any Scientific topic that you’d like share with
the PubliSci community. Whether it’s an opinion piece, a list, a review, and so on, your
goal is to present the knowledge in a language that resonates with all members
regardless of their scientific backgrounds.
A Pre-Pub is a draft version of a scientific paper that has not been published yet.
Upon completing all the required fields, a PubliSci Pre-Pub can be submitted and time
secure an the intellectual property of an idea. The paper can then be shared and
PubliSci or submitted for review in any journal.
Science and Education are life-long passions.
My education includes: an undergraduate degree is Biology/ Education, and I received a Masters is in Geology from the department of Earth and Planetary sciences at the University of Tennessee. I completed a PHD in Geology at Baylor University. My publication history focused on reconstructing the Paleoecology and Paleoclimate records from sediments and fossils from lake and cave deposits.
I closely follow advancements in literature about climate change and geology.
I recently redirected my passion for research into learning about particle physics and the standard model.
Some of my research:
